SEEBRIG HQ is due to be relocated from its current location in Istanbul,   to Larissa,  in June 2011. In this respect, a SEEBRIG team consisting of six officers and two NCOs conducted the first site RECCE to Nation 3 from July 19 to July 23, 2010.

The team met the respective representatives of Nation 3  and worked together on all the SEEBRIG related relocation issues. Moreover, the team visited the next SEEBRIG HQ buildings and facilities as well as the SEEΒRIG HQ accommodation area. In addition, the program included a cultural day during which SEEBRIG HQ members and Nation 3  officers had the chance to visit the archeological site of Dion and the Saint Paraskevi church in Tembi valley.

The overall activity was fruitful for both parties and paved the way for closer future cooperation between SEEBRIG HQ and Nation 3 authorities. The next site RECCE is scheduled for February 2011.
